2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Use of the Platform for medical or clinical decision-making must comply with all applicable professional regulations in your jurisdiction

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Platform for lawful research, academic, and professional purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for clinical diagnosis or treatment without appropriate professional oversight
• Upload or submit any personally identifiable health information (PHI) without a signed data processing agreement
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform in an unauthorized manner
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Platform without express written permission
• Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Violate any applicable laws, including data protection and healthcare regulations

5. Intellectual Property

All content, software, algorithms, and materials on the Platform are the property of ResearchCura or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for your permitted purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of research data and content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display it solely to provide you the service. You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights and complies with all applicable laws.

7. Medical Disclaimer

ResearchCura is a research assistance platform and is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information and tools provided on the Platform are for research and educational purposes only. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. ResearchCura expressly disclaims any liability for clinical decisions made based on Platform outputs.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESEARCHCURA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResearchCura and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms, suspicious activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
